I looked out of the window, into the verandah, after a hearty breakfast of rice pan cakes and look what I found.
She's simple beautiful, the lady in red, i sowed these seeds three months ago and here's the first flower. I guess i do have green fingers after all huh?

Some mistakes are meant to be... i forgot to reverse the side while embroidering but look what happened i got two in the series. Seriously, a whole lot of orange scraps lying waste... looking forward to doing a lot mote of this for sale very soon.

A little birdie for a little girl

Sometimes, nothing deserves to go to waste... so here's a little birdie for my new born friend Nikita (not La femme Nikita) no no way, this little angel is a cute cuddly three month old, a real bundle of joy... she even talks to her toys. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees this little birdie, sitting in a tree!

Kye offers a range of handmade products - bags, different kinds of purses, cushion covers, coasters and more. Each Kye product is hand painted by the same person. So the art/design on each product is unique; there will never be two of the same design.

The designs are diverse - ethnic Indian, abstract, nature, funk and some that simply can't be labeled. Some of the products are further embellished with embroidery and crochet.

After several months of contemplation and several years of the mundane brochure making job I had, iI decided to start Kye. What I do at Kye is create handmade products, in a wide range of formats. Apart from the stuff mentioned below, I hope to start selling wall art too at Kye.

At Kye I create handmade products - bags, cushion covers, party bags, evening purses, dinner plates, trays and more. I put in about 72 hours of work into every single piece, so every Kye product is unique. There will never be two of the same design.

i'm petrified of crabs, which means sunset walks on the beach are ruled out! we saw plenty of these menacing crustaceans at cherai. i seem to remember that this particular one singled me out and looked straight into my eyes. i lost the staring contest and scurried back to mainland, and it probably said 'ha! i got her',
